I blame the "Text messaging" generation myself Peter.
Hardly anyone under 35 can spell these days.

=D> Very nice, 'Wally' would make a great jig-saw puzzle. =D>
Shouldn't David Dickinson be a bit more orange than that :a037:

Yeah, David Dickinson should be more orange...but that's what the client requested.
I wouldn't mind but it wasn't used in the end anyway!!!
I don't know why...budget restrictions , probably.

I hate this job sometimes!!!

The wally picture would make a good jigsaw, I agree.

I might change these illustrations from time to time, I'll keep you posted.

Back in the 80s I submitted a few paintings for competitions in a computer mag called "Computer and video games" they liked my work and asked if I would do a cover for them, I almost wet myself at the opportunity. the cover was to depict a scene from a game called the guild of thieves. I followed their instructions very closely and only had 5 day to do the work in bofore going to print.
In those day I used to photograph my work before sending it, but didn't have time. So posted it and waited and waited, eventually (about 5 days later) I couldn't wait any longer and rang the magazine, I spoke to the editor, he said "this is not what they wanted, thanks very much a cheque would be in the post" and "they would return my picture" there was no cheque and no picture returned. and when the magazine came out the cover was nothing like what he had described to me. Needless to say I was not very happy and kept ringing, but as soon as I gave my name, I was told "he'd just popped out of the office and would ring me back" I don't think I need to tell you, the bas*^£d never did.
If I had photographed it, I would post it on the internet and ask "Had anyone seen this picture or know the scum who stole it.

anyway let me know if you turn 'Wally' into a jigsaw puzzle, my Mum loves them. :D

Tell me about it Peter...
I've been freelancing in the advertising industry for nearly 20 years,
I've heard every excuse there is possible to make about delayed payments (If at all).

On one occasion I was asked to draw a "cartoon hand" doing a "thumbs up".
It was going onto a bus side advertisement.

Quite simple you would think...Oh no...The "Art Director" who asked me to do this kept changing it every time, In the end I must have drawn it at least 60 times (Honestly)...It was just a simple black and white cartoon hand . It drove me mad.!!!

He made me spend nearly two days on this...THEN, when he was finally happy with it he said to me..."Invoice this as if YOU got it right FIRST TIME"

Needless to say I was livid.

Anyway Peter, I'm sorry to hear about your painting and I hope one day you will get it back , but don't hold your breath mate .

I think a few of my paintings are hanging up on "Creative Directors" living room walls...You are right...The Bast***s.

Enough of this though...K9...Wasn't he brought into the series because of all the fuss over C3PO and R2D2 etc. ?

No plans for the Wally jigsaw as yet mate...But you never know.
Ever thought of turning your "Martians attacking the ship" (careful)
into a Jigsaw?

I loved K9. He predated R2D2. I have a toy of him which I got with my fourth Doctor toy.
I'd like to see him return for a one off.
Tom Baker hated working with him as it meant he had to keep bending down to talk to him in close ups.
In fact he didn't get on with most of his assistants especially Leala. When she left he suggested they put a cabbage on his shoulder and he could talk to that. He was serious. A talking cabbage.

He married the second Romana though. But it didn't last long.

What was your three favourite Doctor Who monsters?

For me - Dalek, Cybermen and Zygons.

It's got to be The Dalek, Cybermen and The Master (OK I know he's not a monster in the strictest sense of the word but he's like Mr Punch, we always gave a cheer when he appeared in an episode) you got'a love the bad guys.

I wish I could but as you've pointed out, I can't even give it, it's propper title, let alone have it printed and on sale :a009: And I was going to do it at cost. I wasn't going to charge £11.98 + P&P. Fans of this site would have got mine for about £3.00 all in. :a009: Am I bitter? I'll let you decide :a037:

Oh yes the Master, very much a monster. I'd have to say him above the Zygons. Thanks for pulling me up. Roger Delgado of course, he was the ultimate Master.

The only actor who played the Master I can remember the name of is Jonathan Pryce. I'm not saying he was the best but he did a fair job.

what's your opinions of Paul McGann's portrayal of the Dr? I think he was one of the best but I'm not as bigger fan as you are.

Jonathan Price played the master in the comic relief spoof, Curse of the Fatal Death so that hardly counts.
Roger Delgado was the first and he played up against Pertwee's Doctor. He died in a car crash while still part of the show. The next two Masters were rotten corpses played by different actors but looked the same in make up. Anthony Ainly Played him against Tom baker and those that followed until the series was pulled in 89. Eric Roberts played him in the TV movie nad we've yet to see him pop up in the new series. I'd like to see Robert Powell play him now.
Paul McGann was okay. He looked good and I liked the costume but he didn't get a propper shot at it so its hard to say. I thought the TV Movie was very bad. The Tardis interior was great though.

Sorry I took A while to answer, this one had slipped by.
