The Phoenix has risen from the ashes of the outrageously bad Batman and Robin. Based on Frank Millar's Batman Year One, this could be great.
I'm looking forward to it. Anyone else?

The graphic novel it is based on is a classic. Batman Year one. I highly recomend it.
Looks like this time Bats has some moves.

I hate his costume though...The best looking Batman is the one in the fan movie "Batman Dead End"...Sandy Collora really nailed it there.

I didn't like the new Batmobile at first , but it's growing on me.

There's only one Batmobile...The George Barris one...Fantastic!

I'm looking forward to the movie though.

Yeah I don't like the costume either. Thats my big gripe. I like the flowing cape though. Batman Dead End showed that a traditional costume could work on screen. But we'll never get it. The Batmobile in this one is a bit simmarlar to the Bernie Wrightson one from The Cult.

Saw it last night. Best Batman film by far and best Batman by far. Has the spirit of the modern comics. Can't wait for a sequal.

Thanks Klaatu, that's a fantastic site. I have a big collectoin of batman comics and graphic novels. The Four previous bat films sucked for me but this one was fantastic. I've just bought the DVD's of the Animated series first three seasons. They are perfect.
The New Batman cartoon is awful though.

Batman Begins was really good. My brother is a big Joker fan so he wasn't into it 'cause the Joker wasn't in it. But next thing I know he's sitting up and leaning foward! Plus the ending is open for sequels. Although.....I don't think there should be. I'm not against it, but wasn't this movie made so it would come full circle with Tim Burton's Batman?

Seems like making real-life movies of comic superheroes are very popular. We already had Superman, Spiderman and the Fantastic Four, too. What's next?

Batman Begins has nothing to do with the Burton films. They are different continuity. Batman Begins is not a prequal, but a completely fresh start with the Dark Knite.
Bruce Wayne's parents were killed by Joe Chill in Begins, just like in the comics. In Burtons Batman, The joker did it. There are loads more continuity differences.
The Joker is rumoured to be in the sequal which all the stars are signed up for,and Sean Penn is in rumoured to be playing the Joker.

What kind of guy IS that Joker? If I had Martian weaponry, I would have incinerated him the second I spotted him!

But Batman does not kill. And as a result The Joker has Crippled Bargirl, Killed Robin and thousands of people.

I wasn't talking about Batman, I'd spare him! I would incinerate that bad guy, the Joker!

Sean Penn?! That seals the deal for me. He's a great actor!

Say, Dave, which actors do you like too, beside Sean Penn?

Tom Cruise, Dakota Fanning (she's a gifted actress), Jack Nicholosn, Pierce Brosnon, Eric Bana, Harrison Ford, Leslie Nielson (he's funny), Robert deNiro (for Meet the Parents and Meet the Fockers) and I can't think of any more...

 That's alot! Maybe I should cut down on that list...

Cillian Murphy. He was really good in Batman Begins. And I forgot Liam Neeson, and Gary Oldman.
