Alot has been discussed on the forum about how the Martian fighting machines are gonna look and the Martians themselves but nothing has been said about the sound effects.I wonder what the sound of them moving around is going to be like and i think more importantly..........the hooting! Is the hooting of ULLA,ULLA going to be anything like the way we've personally imagined it over the years? As always i'm sure some of us will like it and some maybe not so much..interesting <_<
Bloody Martians nicked my bible..!

Are they infact going to hoot - "Alloo." Which is their cry throughout the book. They only cry Ulla when they are dying at the end. The Musical version has them Ullaing all the way through. But a faithful adaption should be Alloo. <br />

well theres only one actual quoted "Alloo" as well but yes the sound of the martians will be interesting. I think, although it is sheer speculation that we won't hear anything from the martia.... sorry the aliens in the Paramount version but we will hear plenty from Pendragon

Does anyone have recordings of the Ulla's in the Musical version (without the music itself and all kinds of Ulla's)?

I simply want those Ulla's for fun... maybe even intergrate them in my soundschedule on my computer, e.g. if I receive a new e-mail. The one I best prefer is the Ulla you hear on the album with the Spirit of Man. Of course without the music. It's a good joke to scare my parents...

If you wanted to simply sample the Ulla from the Spirit of Man without any background, your best way to do it would be to use the reggae version on Ulladubulla. The mix starts with that particular one and would be your best source.. I`m actually surprised that there wasnt a track of various "ullas" used on the Collectors Edition without the backing tracks as there was just about everything else there.
You`ve given me an idea for a lovely message tone on my mobile ! javascript:emoticon('\\:D/')

If someone has that album, please send the sample to me. I don't have the Remix Album itself, even though I want it.
