If your thinking of becoming a vegitarian - now is the time. In the image we see Ray (Cruise), but does that look like a priest on the left?

Could be a white dog collar he's wearing, couldn't it?

That pic makes me feel hungry...

I did an illustration some time ago of a few grey aliens discecting a cow.
It was for a UFO magazine, I'll try and dig it out .

I love it. \:D/

Reminds me a little of the old autopsy paintings from the early days.

Thanks Loz and Peter,
The illustration was done with Pantone Magic Markers (Which I use a lot of for my job)and a little bit of pencil.

I've only been experimenting with a "Mac" for a few months. I've still got a hell of a lot to learn...It's quite daunting for an old bug**r like me.

Only having access to it during office hours Mon-Fri doesn't help either.

I love what computers can do but, I find it a bit sad that a computer illustration doesn't have an" original" piece of artwork that you can pick up and hold....only a printout. I still want to keep my hand in the "traditional" style of painting (when I can).

I do know what you mean. but the pc is a lot cleaner :D
And as some of my work is turned into posters and postcards, a painting has to be professionally photographed before going to the printers, when you can stick it strait on a CD it cuts out the middle man.
But I do still like to sketch. :)

Yeah I know what you mean About having your Artwork photographed properly Peter.
I've been a Freelance Illustrator in the Advertising industry for 20 years , and I've had some lousy reproductions of my work because of bad photography/lighting etc.

Years ago I used to illustrate Science Fiction book covers for an agent I had in Germany (in my spare time).

Some of those turned out poor because the guy that photographed them for me just pointed his camera at them and clicked away.

Happy days though!!

I met some great people in the Science Fiction World then.

Not over here on a book cover , I've had a few illustrations in Sci Fi magazines and suchlike. But I don't think I've got any copies anymore.

I'll have a look to see what I can find.

I started very early illustrating Sci Fi books Peter...
I had my first cover done when I was 16 years old!!!! (honest)

A very popular professional Sci Fi artist called Eddie Jones lived close by , I contacted him ...He became a bit of a tutor to me...It was his agent in Germany that got my books published.

Unfortunately ,Eddie passed away about 6 years ago.

I used to go to a lot of Sci Fi conventions around the country, selling my original Artwork.

I met a lot of famous Sci Fi people in those days...Fond memories indeed.

16 years old :a103:
I didn't make it into print until I was about 22 / 23, but the first painting I sold was an oil painting of a kestrel, which I sold to one of my school mates for a couple of quid, which was a lot of money to a kid in 1978 :D
