Nuking would be a bad idea. Cockroaches are one of the only animals that would proberbly survive a nuclear war.
They are one of the most modern insect groups. They can survive without their heads and still mate headless and lay eggs. They have back up brains in their legs.
They are notoriously hard to remove from buildings. If you stand on a female she'll quickly lay eggs.
Pest controle will use poisons but it will take time.
I suggest you grow to love them and study them as a man studies creatures that swarm and multiply in a drop of water. They are incredible survivors and adapters.

Tell me if they begin using sticks.

Flamethrowers are fun, but you cant use them in wooden buildings though...

If you have a neighbor on the other side the wall, small tunnels could make it a shared pain. Small holes in the wall made with a knife wont be noticed by the neighbor.

Strychnine (I think thats the english word) is a fun poison. Its victim's every muscle is stretched to the limit, leaving them with a morbid grin. I wonder if it works on bugs? The result would be hilarious...

How to make a tripod:
1. Take a small wooden toy wheel (cheap in hobby stores)
2. Take three nails.
3. Figure the rest out yourself.

Pretty crazy.

Move.

Do not attempt to stay and beat the cockroaches in some misguided attempt to demonstrate Man's superiority over all the things that creepeth upon the Earth.

Admit defeat, abase yourself, indulge in a paroxysm of autoflagellation, and concede the utter failure of your pathetic efforts against the cockroach, admit, nay proclaim loudly from the highest point atop your benighted halls of residence, that you are therefore its physical and, by implication, moral inferior. Allow your hubristic human pride to be as dust in the face of a superior adversary, pay homage to them, and depart gracefully leaving them many sweetmeats and morsels of goodness.

Only then will you find inner peace.

Kinda meant to be a joke. Kinda know you not really suffering from leprosy even though your user name is Lepper Messiah. No need to explain.
