Hadn't you heard, there are no extras in the Pendragon film, There's a lot of cardboard cut outs on a couple of broom handles jiggled up and down. It was cheaper. But for the close up shots they use glove puppets :D

No pics of the tripods yet?

Pendragon movie will be filmed with the famous and good-quality of this forum's favorites...

SOCK PUPPETS!!!!!!

Tripods will be made by unfortunate walking sticks and mantis with three legs...(And thats quite expensive really)

Also, the cast has minimized to one actor who will play all roles :)

Houses will be made from lego.... No, not lego (too expensive) some cheap chinese lego look-alike :P

The scene with the martian crawling out will be tricked with a squid from a fish shop, crawling out of a glass. This scene will cost about 2 pounds, so best for them to do no mistakes!

Okay, it wont be that bad... :P

How to make a tripod:
1. Take a small wooden toy wheel (cheap in hobby stores)
2. Take three nails.
3. Figure the rest out yourself.

Pretty crazy.

Pendragon's cheap ass will have to use wild animals stolen from the zoo as extras, hopefully one of the tigers will swallow Tim Hines whole.

Would you say the same about tarantino or even george lucas when he was struggling to get star wars made... everyone has to start somewhere.

Does anyone have any idea on how these tripods are going to look?
A rip of Jeff Wayne's concept/look?
A geeky little Potato on three tooth picks?
Something out of Half-Life II?
Or something wholely original?
