I must say, it's certainly been an experience trying to crack your 'Special Op's' registration process. Anyhoo I'm finally in and it's great to actually be able to participate. Thanks guys

As you've probably have read on one of the new threads, we had been experiencing a lot of trouble from spammers in the past, so Lee (the site manager) raised the drawbridge and dropped the portcullis. but you're here now and you are very welcome.
Thanks for your kind comments, I hope you've been enjoying the comic.
I would like to see what sort of work you've turned out with Photoshop, I tried Photoshop about ten years ago when I got my first PC but it conflicted with my scanner and kept crashing so I turned to Paint Shop Pro and that worked fine and I'm still using it today, it's like an old friend.

Thank's for the welcome guys. I know from reading your threads over the past couple of months, you have a great, warm community here and I can appreciate the measures you have to take to protect that. @Lonesome: I certainly have been following 'Bob & Co's' epic adventures. I'm intrigued whether you have any further plans for the comic after it's completion? I personally make a lot of wallpapers (PC/PSP/PS3). I'd love to see an 'Invasion Of Earth' HD (1920x1080px) wallpaper. If this is something you'd be interested in making I'd be more than happy to share some ideas, PSD files (for the PS3/PSP wallpaper templates, etc). I'll post up a wallpaper of mine tomorrow to give you an idea what the hell I'm ranting on about

Essentially yes, any 1920x1080px can be used. When creating them for the PS3 though there's the icons that will run on top of the wallpaper to take in to consideration. The best wallpapers tend to not only work around the icons but actually compliment them.
Here's a few examples...
HAZE by Draicus (Click image for HD)
Ratchet & Clank by Draicus (Click image for HD)
Blue Harvest by Divine (Click image for HD)
Ghettofabulous by Divine (Click image for HD)
XMB Template (Click image to D/L PSD)
I've included the multi layered PSD template. Basically if you place the template layer over any of these wallpapers you'll see the exact positions of all the visible icons (The white squares). The PS3 also tends to cut off a small border around the wallpaper, the red line on the template represents the DANGER area
The template was created on Photoshop but I've sent PSDs to people using PSP before and they've always worked, any problems, I can send you them as PNG layers instead.
I've also put in the pack Playstation logo PNGs and fonts if you wanna use 'em.
I have also made a few PS3 themes, which are an extension to the wallpapers. The actual icons can be altered to compliment the wallpaper image. Here are some I made for the Ghettofabulous wallpaper above...

I'd love to see that. Bring it on. Something old school would be good too.
