Don't feel sorry for that stupid "Caw". If he hadn't busted the crystal egg, Sharon could have stopped the Black Smoke in time.

But you must also consider Caw's death as a noble sacrifice, if he hadn't smashed the egg and the small phial on herbicide, the Martians wouldn't have spotted the the herbicides deadly capabilities and Sharon's blunder could have been much bigger. So is Caw the hero or the villain? either way he paid with his life

Cheers loz.
Although I posted the last section a couple of weeks ago I've only just started on the next section, I've been busy putting together a portfolio of everything I've done so far.
This has lead to quite a bit of extra work as I have been cleaning up continuity problems and spelling mistakes . also because my portfolio is made up of six images to a page I've come across a little problem, because some of the story has been posted on this forum as sixteen pictures per section, this does not divide nicely into six, so I have had to create several new images to fill the gaps.
I now have a portfolio which is seventy eight pages long, I had no idea it would be that big.
Anyway I'm on with the next section now, so bear with me, not long to go

Yeah it looks great as a portfolio but as a comic in todays market you will have problems. Comic book readers don't want to see the panels in quite such a uniformed way. You could do with studying the medium a bit more because the art is mind blowingly good but could all work on the comic page better than six equally sized panels over so many pages. And comic book readers aren't going to want to see any images repeated in exactly the same pose etc. Which you do quite a bit. Sometimes on adjacent panels. Especially with the Tripods.

I hear what you are saying Loz and this project was never intended for print, I only printed it out because several people (without PCs ) requested it. square panels are perfect for viewing on the net though.
As for your comment about the uniformity of the panels and of repeating the image, this is quite common. I have in my hands at the moment; Alan Moore & Kevin O'Neill's, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (Volume II) And the first page of the actual story shows the same image repeated nine times, it's a close-up of a flying carpet seen from above, in the sequence the viewer pulls back from the scene, as a camera would zoom out in a film, they are all the same image because you can see little imperfections and ink splatters that are repeated, also all nine panels are the same size, on another page there is a row of silhouetted houses this image is repeated three times, the only difference is the number of tripods in the background. I have found several more of the same type of thing and looking through the comic I see there are fifty nine pages made up of panels of equal size, many of them are like mine, six to a page.
I know I repeat the images (especially the walkers) quite a lot this is because I have a full-time job and can only work on this project in the evening and at week-ends, my boss just won't let me take the time off to work on it.
PS. Thank you for the "the art is mind blowingly good" comment.

I was going to do the outline of a baby Martian on the side of the washing up liquid bottle, like the baby on the FAIRY washing up liquid bottle but I thought it might just lead to confusion.
Thanks everyone for your kind comments, more coming soon.
