If Terry Gilliam ever made a WotW movie then he would probably have the tripods designed to look like Correa's. I like them just simply because they show that they look like something that is really "out there".

They have eyes, not eye-like parts, or visible Martians within, but the machines themselves have eyes. That alone makes them look less like deadly war machines, and more like some silly cartoon.

They were good illustrations.

They are my favourite Fighting Machines. I love them. Then yours Lonesome.

My favs are Jeff Waynes version of the FM of course, then the machines from the '53 movie.

I'm not a big fan of those tripods. My favs are definitely JW's, then the Paramount film. Those tripod and their style reminds me of water towers!

Eh, Loz, I think you should check the number of your posts and compare it with mine. No offends meant, but I think I am the top War Lord... But still, you're a very excellent no.2, with Lonesome coming in on 3rd place!

no, I'm still top. Sure you have more posts. But that is not enough. If I wanted too, I could just spend the day dreging up old threads and adding to them and surpass you. It is the posts that you create, that cause debate that matter. And I have a few of those under my belt.

I got there first, to become a Martian Warlord. And believe it or not, there was no such title after 1000 posts. I expected a new name to appear when I hit it and got nothing, so I wrote to Lee and suggested that 1000 posts creates a new name, and i suggested Martian Warlord. so you are only a Martian warlord because I suggested it.
You and Sam have your little thing going over in Computer games section and that is why you've suddenly got so many posts.

In truth Eveofthewar, Lonesesome Crow, Lepper Messiah and the Curate are the true masters of this forum. Lepper and Curate are absent due to a lack of home computer, but they created many strong threads and debates, and added to others with their veiws and terrible egos.
