looking forward to the two Dalek stories and seeing the new evolved Dalek machines.

didn't we see a Dalek in episode one?, or was that just a wheelie bin? I thought the BBC were just cutting back on costs :D

Emu TV with Rod Hull and Emu back in the 70's did a great spoof on Doctor Who, if anyone remembers?
The Daleks were peddle bins.
And the Tardis was a red telephone box.

In the final two episodes the Daleks return after one appearing in episode six. This time they are going to have changed into some new more updated design.
I always find the fact that they can't go up stairs being used to bash the Daleks funny, because, when would they ever need to go upstairs?
Whenever they invade Earth, to escape them all you have to do is go upstairs. or maybe go over rough terrain. what they realy need are leged walking machines, three legs should be enough, about 100 tf high..........hang on this sounds familiar :D

I prefer the Burton version. It is short and to the point and his voice is perfect for setting the mood of the piece. Wells' prose is excellent for a book and I am sure Jeff and Doreen Wayne would have liked to have used more of it throughout the album but then it would probably have ended up on 8 disks instead of 2

I'm also fond of Jeff's version. It's in my mind as reïnforced concrete.
