Thanks and I do get idea's from everyday things. I had to wait for a digger to cross the road the other day and that got me thinking. So I created this picture.

I'm gussing it not a scene from the book but an off page scene. That dood is either in a pool of blood in the feeding chamber or in a pool of red weed. Either way he's about to be fed upon.

The black thing with the green globe, on the left has a curved tentacle with a sucker on the end, I wasn't sure whether it was coming to grab him or whether that was the thing disintegrating him. what ever it is he's having a real crappy day

Doesn't need to be in book. It's something that could have happened. And your car in the dead tripod pictue is too modern for the book time setting of 1899, but that doesn't matter beacuse your pictures are great. Read the book it is short and can be easily read in one day.
