It's the one I'm looking forward to the most out of the three War of the World Film projects. I used to listen to the album twice a day back when I was a kid.
It's still my favourite album of all time.

You all are my new found friends its like the breakfast club! We all have something very in common.
I have been obsessed of the jeff waynes work.
I meant what I said Its strait from my heart. A true fan. I listen to the musical version at least twice a year,
my cd's are so overused and scrtched from handling
I cant even listen to it fully anymore, I cant even find another one to replace it either.
I too have been waiting for a cgi version and its driving me nuts.
Funny- It wasnt that long ago I was speaking with a gentleman that hosts a web site-
http://drzeus.best.vwh.net/wotw/wotw.html
This site is almost a dictionary of war of the worlds. Anyway about 2 years ago I was telling him I thaught it would be awsome if Waynes did an animation and boy its comming true. Its all to overwelming to me with all these movies going on. ((But Jeff Waynes) I cant wait I cant wait.)

:aliean:

Just got back from the Emerald Isle and looked at the Handling Machine footage. It all brings back so many memories of sneaking into my Dad's 'off limits' vinyl collection when I was 4 or 5. My brother and i had an old Hitachi turntable passed down from my Dad. We used to sit by the speaker as low as the volume could go and s**t ourselves.! Those were the days.
Jeff Waynes LP was the reason I got into WOTW and was the reason i read the book. SOME OF YOU GUYS ARE PROBABLY THE SAME!!?? When I got my motor with a six disc CD changer in it my CD version was the first thing to go in. They have stayed in slots 1 and 2 ever since.!
That's why this film is to me the most important.

ooopsie sorry about that H.C. So do you know what the charictures
in Jeffs cgi are going to be like? will they be like the animation that is being used
in movies like Animatrix or will it be more like TITAN A.E or how about Pixar or
Final Fantasy. Any ideas at all. :(

If the quality of the footage we have seen so far is anything to go by I'm sure it will be great. I hope it's as good as Final Fantasy or Animatrix's the final flight of the Osiris.
