Fandom
strikes me as a little creepy when it gets over-protective of
those they admire.

Or maybe there are Ollie Records lawyers about!

As far as this site goes, none of your users (as far as I can
tell) are able to post images on your site. They can post
links to an image on another site, sure... but it would be
counterproductive for Ollie Record Productions to hold you
responsible for the content of another site.

If they do, for some reason, have an issue with an in-progress
line-art logo on my Geocities site, I would consider it corporate
bullying if they chose to make it your issue, rather than do the
proper thing and contact Geocities (or myself) directly.

What kind of images did you get 'dinged' for in the past? I mean,
were they reproductions you posted on the site, or images a
user linked to elsewhere?

Flaming, I understand what you are saying, but Jeff Wayne and the people/companies that represent him do take care of themselves and get involved with any websites or people who use the artwork, video clips or sound clips without permission or a license.

You have said in a post you were thinking of using images for a fan site you were doing. I was just giving you a friendly warning about the strict copyright (other companies are more relaxed) they have and just asking you not to post the images on the forum.

Don't take offense, but I am going to close this thread. If you wish to email me then feel free.
