No your right. I look at the Pal film with a certain fondness. They would never have been able to have pulled the tripods off back then. I think they tried and couldn't get them to stand up. Its just a film with great design, but its not what we want ultimately. All the more reason to make H G Wells War of the Worlds proper because we already have the Pal version whith all its deviations. We can watch the Pal version for a modern take, now give us the real thing.

Cheers 'SATexanGuy' I bought a pack of the blueprints back in the 90s but it looks like they have added a few more pages since then. :D
