According to The Digital Bits.com the 1953 movie is due out this summer on a special edition DVD. I know this isn't a shock but neverless I like hearing the news. Now I want to see what kind of treats they are going to offer us. According to CombustibleCelluloid.com, the Special Collector's Edition of the War of the Worlds has been pushed back to November 1. That's a pity it's been pushed back. I'm hoping they'll get Gene Barry and Anne Robinson to do a commentary, that'd be pretty good. Perhaps it will coincide with the DVD of the new film? |
