I've not heard of this one, I wasn't overly impressed with Gaiman's 'NEVERWHERE', but I'll keep an eye out for this one.

Stardust Rated PG-13 - Action/Adventure/Drama/SciFi/Fantasy In an English countryside town bordering on a magical land, a young man, Tristan makes a promise to his beloved that he'll retrieve a fallen star by venturing into the magical realm. So his journey begins in one way and another. Based on the story by Neil Gaiman. The book is well worth reading and extracts as well as e-books are availble from Neil's site. But does the film do it justice, well that remains a yet unknown. It's on my list to watch and until them I'll reserve passing judgement on it until them. |
