Oh I can most definately be pleased. In fact I'm quite into pleasure.
But those crappy 1980's vidio nasty aliens don't please me.

I'm quite quickly pleased as well. But is something doesn't please me, then I'm not pleased.

The Tempest is an advanced assault vehicle, which carries two heavy Heat-Rays and a Canister Launcher.

Asylums team were not told they were working on "War of the worlds" just an alien invasion movie, so they were free to design the walkers and aliens to their own specification, not based on the book .. hence what you see in the movie.

I prefer this version to the pendragon version by a long way.

Right, Pendragon was the worst, but it gave a try, which had good intentions.

I agree, pendragons version did try, it just fell short by a great way. There were good points to the pendragon version (I liked the score) and some bad points (all of the FX and acting and script and direction).

Anyway, I liked asylums version most out of the two. They are both worth watching once for any WOTW fan.

I'm actually (trying to patiently) waiting for Jeff's CGI movie. I definitely want to see that! :D

Jeff's version will be great, at least the film will. I'm still not 100% convinced about the cartoon mini series tho.

I hope they are both good, but its the film i'm most interested in.

That was a bad move by the director or producer. Because, the tripods are a big part of the books success.

The aliens are very alien, I'll give them that, but they could have come up with something better.

i FOUND THE MOVIE VERY MELODRAMATIC AND CRAP.

Well I already gave it a proper critical assessment. The director even responded to it remember?
I can't be bothered wasting energy on it anymore.
