You're welcome my friend. If I could speak Dutch as good as you can speak English ..I'd be very pleased with myself. |

I had on high school an oral examination in English. My score on a scale of 1 - 10 (with 1 being the worst and 10 being the best) was a 9.5 (highest of the class!) |

Don't you all watch the BBC over there?...I've been to Holland and I remember BBC showing on the TV. Well done with your English exam by the way. |

I mostly learned English with an 'automatic' aid of my games and favorite tv-shows. The occasion I really watch the BBC is for the show The Weakest Link. |

Sorry about that your use of English is so good, I tend to forget you may not get the finer points. Loz took the same exam but he only got 7 out of 10 Sorry Loz |

Hey, a 7 out of 10 is also a very good job. On my elementary I did Dutch grammar, in which I had to write down the given words properly. And I had almost EVERY time a 10 out of 10. It's not that I'm a pure Dutchman, which I am, but I've made use of an ability to memorize the words I needed to learn. Some kind of a photographic memory. |

No I wasn't fibbing. I've just been out of action for a while. Moving over to Ireland, getting married etc. I've been busy. Quite frankly I'm appalled by your bickering. I'm going to call my nice new house....... 11 |

11 Fish Emerald Slicer. I can see why you would mix them up, they do sound very similar if you are a complete nutter! |

Fish + Emerald to the power of Slicer = 11 |

Yes I know that, We all know that but what's wrong with just calling it "11" ? |
Author: | Loz [ Sun Dec 11, 2005 1:07 am ] |

There's a number 11 on almost every street in the world. where as there are only 9 Fish Emerald Slicers. I'd rather be the tenth Fish Emerald Slicer than the umpteenth zillionth number 11. |

Yes but the postman will never be able to find your house with a name like that. 11 is easy, it's always between 9 and 13. |
