Anyone else have the funky weather this morning?

We had loads of Thunder and Lightning in Devon! Flooding too.

Made for an entertaining drive to work... :alien:

Don't worry Loz they had thunder as well, so no invasion :D

We in Yorkshire had a steady light rain for a couple of hours, God loves Yorkshire folk

Last night at my place was a fierce thunderstorm. I could hardly sleep at those loud claps and the lightning. I fell back to sleep at what in England is 3 am in the morning. My timezone differs one hour later with that of GMT.

Anyone remember that scene in Poltergiest, where the thunderstorm strikes and the tree tries to eat the little boy? It's all a distractoin for the abduction of the little girl into that scary cupboard. [-o<

Stephen Kings 'IT' I've seen it, still not as creepy as the one from Poltergiest though  King books are best left as books, they don't work well as films.

My mother is fond of Stephen King, I reckon that she has almost all of his books!

I've got about thirty of King's books, some of thoughs are short storie collections. I think his 'Dark Tower' series is some of his best work.

I'll have to ask her what her favorite Stephen King book is.
