That's the trouble, We have discussed just about every aspect of the book, films, radio broadcast, album, CGI film and show we can think of. We Have Run Out of Ideas. :a009:

There's only Bob The Martian left :a009:

Although I did find out a few days ago that the BBC made a six part dramatisation of TWOTW back in 1967. I downloaded it from LimeWire, not very good audio quality but interesting.

Yes but you hardly ever discuss anything about the book.

That last picture has freaked me out Lonesome. I'm rather upset. I think I need to lie down. But when I close my eyes I see the weird pixie girl with the webbed hands. AAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHH.

:? I'll take that as a compliment then :-k Cheers, I think

Here are a couple more, these are old ones, back from the mid 80s

'White Mountain' was inspired by a song from the 'TRESPASS' album by 'GENESIS' as you could guess it's about wolves.

'Time and Time Again' This is the idea that time is a wheel, The end of Mankind and the second dawn of the Dinosaurs, I think I chose the Humber Bridge as the main subject because we had just been told this great white elephant was going to cost the locals several millions more than they originally thought, A subconscious protest?? :-k

I think 'Time and Time Again' is brilliant. I think the children crossing sign on the telegraph pole is really haunting. I like the name of the piece too. It adds an extra dimension.

Cheers 'Gone for a BURTON'
It's my favourite of the two as well, I feel that white mountain was not dramatic enough, too much like a jigsaw puzzle picture :? I should have made the wolves in the foreground larger.

This is one of my first Air-brush paintings, created back in the mid 80's.
The model I used was Samantha Fox, originally I painted her without any hair, because Snakes don't have hair, but when I started with computer art I used 'Paint Shop Pro' to give her a head full of snakes like Medusa.

Above is the plain petrol tank and below is the finished paint job.

Here's a variation on one of the pictures I previously posted here 'Cetacious Galactica' I've taken the Humpback out and rearranged the dolphin's pods as though they where leaving the Earth before it's final destruction, as suggested in Douglas Adams' book 'SO LONG, AND THANKS FOR ALL THE FISH' I've made it a suitable size for Desk top again, if anybody wants to use it.
