There's a strange story behind this painting.
I did a small A4 size painting and one of the dentists we do work for saw it and asked if I would paint him one, so I did, this is it, he took one look and asked if he might have the little A4 one instead, for the same price  this picture was ten times better than the one he decided to buy, I still don't get it, but that's Dentists for you. Maybe he prefers the softer look of the smaller one. She has paler nipples too. But I too see your point.

Author:  Lonesome Crow [ Sun Feb 12, 2006 8:54 pm ]
Post subject:

It's only softer because it's been blown up from a small Photo.
:-k So it must be a Nipple thing

I think it because some folks prefer pale nipples over dark ones! I think I prefer the pale ones.

Here's a couple more:
'Assault on Dome city' the shape of this craft may be a bit familiar :D
And
'Uplift War' this was done for my own amusement after reading David Brin's wonderful book 'The Uplift War', it's mostly made up of photos scanned out of wildlife magazines and pasted together in Paint Shop Pro.

Just this one for now. I did five Fairies and sprites in this style for my Niece when my brother was redecorating her bedroom, but I can only find this one. 'THE WATERSPRITE'.
