The pattern of lights looks right compared to the one we can see coming through the flames in the trailer. where did you find these? and how old are they?  (no copyright date)

This is what I have been able to find on the net about the above images. "The above WOTW sketches are not "production sketches" - but rather were done by Kermici Farid - a professional production designer and storyboard artist from France - (worked on CRIMSON RIVERS among others) and he did these after he saw the latest trailer to satiate and make more clear sense regarding what he saw in the trailer. He is not associated with Spielberg's film, but very talented regardless." |

No not that shot, that's an old one. I'm talking about Paramount's new trailer, in which you see a tripod picking men out of the sea. and there is a scene where a tripod walks through a wall of fire. |

These seem to tie in with the trailer images we have seen.. The machine in the ferry sequence intrigues me though. It could either be somthing new we haven't seen or an early FX shot that will be changed. I think the former as you get an impression of the sheer size of the thing. It oddly reminds me of something like the Hunter Killer Tanks in 'Terminator'.. That kind of 'bulk'. If that makes sense. |
