I can't believe how much I'm literally on the edge of my chair, willing the Martians to succeed & get home. Then I remember what story this is, and I suddenly think I know where this is all going to end up.
Still, you've surprised us before, and may do so yet again, so I shall patiently wait and see.
Did I say 'patiently'? Well, I'll leave it at 'I shall wait and see.'
Insert witty, yet philosophical remark here...

Wow, another great issue. I wonder how they get back home.
The Tempest is an advanced assault vehicle, which carries two heavy Heat-Rays and a Canister Launcher.

I don't know, but what's a story told by martians if there are none to survive to tell it?
We saw Tripods wading up the Thames, cutting through bridges as though they were paper; Waterloo Bridge, Westminister Bridge. One appeared above Big Ben. Ulla!

Back in February (page 20 of this thread) I posted pictures of a folio of 'The Invasion of Earth' the title page in one of the pictures shows the new title, which now reads;
Taken from the Captain's logs and the crew's personal diaries, this is the Martians version of
The Invasion of Earth ?
The true account of what took place in and around London during the Martians landing.
So this graphic novel is a translation of the Martians personal notes.
Or alternatively, perhaps the Martians didn't die but nor did they escape and they are kept and studied at a secret, private facility at Kensington. but you didn't hear it from me, OK.

That's ok, I don't even know where in England Kinsington is. And even if I did, I can't get there.

Thanks 'Alland' it's not a new site but I think the title page is no longer working, so you have to come to the forum directly. I've got the forum to send me an email every time someone responds to this thread and I don't delete that email until I've got another one, that way I've always got an easy backdoor to the forum. Thanks 'Relyt' as you say one to go but by the Gods it's a big one, probably 24 pictures long, so you'll have to be patient with me, I've go so many loose ends to tidy up and maybe a murder or two to commit.

Heeeeeyy. Hi there Lonesome Peter!!!
Sorry I've been absent. I've got three theatre commissions on the go and I've pretty much banned myself from the internet while I work on them. The great thing is I had loads of panels to get through. All of which were fantastic. loved the calender bit, with your more serious fighting machines on and the Trimm one. that was genius. Those fighting machines brought me to this forum in the first place if I remember.
Love the attacks on the Martians, the use of the train wheels, the Fly bit, the tardis, Stargate. ha ha it's all there. How Primrose Hill was made into a dug out. Love the way you twist everything. The art of course is always beautifully rendered. I'm looking forward to the conclusion and your twist on that.
Do the Martians fake their own demise? Wouldn't surprise me.

Hi Loz, great to see you back, I thought we'd done something to upset you.
Good news about your theatre commissions which play/s is it? (puppy dogs tails?)
If you don't respond to this post I won't get too upset now I know the reason why
I wasn't sure whether anyone got 'The Fly' reference.

I'm just so busy it's not true.
Just keep emailing me with new stuff. You know I'm your number 1 fan.
For some reason it doesn't tell me about new posts here anymore...
Anyway. Just read through it all again and it's an outstanding piece of work. I'll be printing it off and making my own little book at some point. What's that going to cost me I wonder?
