Still great work as always.
The Tempest is an advanced assault vehicle, which carries two heavy Heat-Rays and a Canister Launcher.

Waiting with great anticipation for the next episode as always.
We saw Tripods wading up the Thames, cutting through bridges as though they were paper; Waterloo Bridge, Westminister Bridge. One appeared above Big Ben. Ulla!

Yeah I've been having some pretty good weather here in the US, not too hot, not too wet...

Nice installment. I was just a bit angry over something (a function on one of the computer games I play refused to work) and I got mad and decided to shut down the computer. On impulse I decided to check internet stuff and came here and look what was there waiting for me: an update that I check for at least 5 times a day for. Time to tell scifishock!
By the way, on the statue of Colin, I think you forgot his crown-shaped top-of-head.

It has been 142,000 years since the time of our lord Colin, you can't expect the present day Martian to get all the facts accurate. I bet Christ didn't really have blue eyes and look like Robert Powell... Yeah OK, I forgot
Glad it cheered you up anyway
I haven't played a computer game since my ZX Spectrum days (Mid 80s), have they brought out another game since then? I'll have to try and find it.
Just popped over to SciFiShock.com to see what scurrilous things you've been saying about me this time and came across 'mrgrotey's' film 'The War of the Worlds Project' it's brilliant, I watched the youtube version first and enjoyed it so much I downloaded the high rez version (now I've got to find out how to transfer it to my iPod )
Here's the link to the appropriate thread over on SciFiShock.com
http://evilnerfherder.proboards78.com/index.cgi?board=fanwotw&action=display&thread=1399&page=1
where you will find links to a high rez version, a low rez version and a youtube version.
Congratulations to mrgrotey and all those who took part, you must have felt like right prats at the time and now the whole world knows it too.
Great work really enjoyed it.

Well we're glad you liked it. Our forum is concerned whether people outside the forum are enjoying the video, they'll sure be glad you did.
Yeah, computer games are what I do when I'm not going on cruises. And by cruises I mean band tours. And by band tours I mean driving my Mercedes. And by driving my Mercedes I mean sitting in front of my computer looking at stuff on the internet drinking a soda. Said games are such as Garrysmod (the game that refused to do something), Team Fortress 2, and other software.

Thanks for the kind words Mr F, we had a ball making it (many beers and much sweat was involved that weekend, I can tell you!).
Mr G has done an astounding job with the FX and editing and we're all loads proud of it.
I know I don't get on here to post as much as I'd like (the two sites take up a fair bit of time!) but your comic is great, btw!

Thanks for the kind words
I think this site is dying to tell the truth, so when I finish my Invasion of Earth in another six or seven episodes I'll probably be joining you lot over there, if you'll have an old second-hand Tripod salesman?

Thanks Loz.
Bob was originally going to be called Colin but I had a feeling forum member; RickyB1 called his Martian Colin in his brilliant little animation about the Martians testing the tripod war machine against the flying manta war machine.
I tried to find that animation again a little while back, the thread's still there but the link to the animation no longer works but I did discover his Martian was called Otto, so I could have uses the name Colin for Bob's character after all, too late now.
Anyway Loz, we've not seen you around here for a while what have you been up to?
