Here is the publisher's description of another WOTW-based comic book headed our way;<br /><br /> Quote: TRUE MEMOIRS OF DOCTOR MYSTERE, VOLUME 2: THE WAR OF THE WORLDS. By Alfredo Castelli & Lucio Filippucci.<br />In this book Dr. Mystere and Cigale embark on what they believe is the first manned mission to the moon. Once on the moon, they encounter and befriend the moon creatures who greet them. However, Dr. Mystere and company must put their lives at stake to save their home planet. <br /><br />Sounds more like First Men in the Moon, but presumably - judging by the title - those pesky Martians must show up at some point (perhaps using the Moon as a staging area for their invasion?).<br /><br />True Memoirs of Doctor Mystere, Volume 2: The War of the Worlds is published in April by SAF Comics. A full colour 48 page hardcover book, it retails at $12.95 and contains mature themes.<br /><br /> <br />
