Indeed it does which is why I'm not going to point out the grammar and punctuation errors in your last post I shall correct my (it's to its) before I print them out, and thank you again for spotting it. craigr wrote: Cool! I figured that the Martian examining the wreckage from the novel would be Sharon looking for Bob in your version. Wasn't expecting Stan to get killed, though... what a pleasant surprise! What a pleasant surprise!
Are you telling me Stan wasn't a popular character?! I thought long and hard about my decision to blast Stan, Someone had to get it and so it was going to be Stan or an also-ran, well the tossed coin came up heads so it had to be Stan.
And yes you were right about Sharon & Bobby , Sharon was blasting The Thunder Child just trying to protect her Bobby.
I think there's a lot of Roger & Jessica Rabbit in that pair.

Another good episode! And since this is Bob's account of the invasion, we know he wasn't killed. Just tell me that when he shows up again, you're not going to go the soap opera route and have him suffering amnesia. Since this is the Martian version of the invasion, you must be pretty near the end of the story now, and we wouldn't really have time for fooling around with that sort of thing.

I'll have to go back and check, but I think the title page originally said "A Martian's personal account" but as Bob has spent most of the time separated from the rest of the team there's no way he could know what they where doing. So in my printed-out version I have amended the title to "Taken from the Captain's log and the crew's personal diaries, this is the Martians version of THE INVASION OF EARTH? The true account of what took place in and around London during the Martians landing." catchy title hey? There will be no waking up in the shower like Bobby Ewing did in 'Dallas', that's if our Bobby wakes up at all. Oh there are a few more issues from Wells' original (although inaccurate account) that must be addressed and cleared up. But that's all you'll get from me for now

Well, we'll just have to WAIT AND SEE then, won't we?
Um... that doesn't sound like it'll get you to work any faster, does it? I've got to work on my intimidation skills...

Insert witty, yet philosophical remark here...

Oh um er, We Brits didn't get to see Dallas until many years had past since it's original showing over in the U.S.
Everyone was asking "Who shot J.R.?" and we were asking "Who the hell is this J.R.?"
Still got a fair bit of work to do before the next episode, I've got to invent a flying machine.

I like the flying machine, the design fits in very well with the walkers. And I'm now very intrigued at what has become of mayther, is it bacteria or something else?

But it will also lead to a revelation for Sharon and subsequently to another big disaster So nothing new then

I'm still working on the scripts, I haven't even started on the pictures for the next issue yet. So far I've written scripts for eight episodes, each episode will have twelve pictures. I think I'm going to have to write another three or four episodes to get right to the end of the story, so you can expect another eleven or twelve episodes before I'm done.
