Well, you've got 18/19 heat ray turrets in Grampian Highlands (Sector 3). Are there any others? :)

Well, the fact that I've got in that same sector 7 102 DnO Projectile Launchers ready while its research hasn't been finished yet! By the way, I've got only 8 Heat Ray Turrets (and that research has yet to begin!). What you mean are the Rapid Heat Rays.

A misunderstanding, check Sector 3 again! There are already 7 PLs and 8 HRTs there, and their research aren't finished yet!

They're not rubbish, I use them on occasion to freeze hostile targets with their Foam Jets, so I can take them down easily. And I build them for fun.

I really don't like them!

Theyre amazing on the Playstation version. Very similar to Bombarding machines on there, only much stronger.

The Constrictors can come in handy for making an animation. I can set them to freeze one machine, send the other two somewhere else, and then make a animation of the third machine walking to his comrades!

The number of defences and places where building and defences stand where you normally CAN'T put them there (in a city, on the road and so forth)

Unfortuately, it didnt work this time! A one time glitch perhaps :(

I built a building on the site of the factories in Liverpool, and they rebuilt around it, and the turret looked as though it went into the factory. Its not working now though.. :(
