My favourite machine for killing the humans has got to be the Tempest, 3rd Generation. However, overall, its gotta be the original Fighting Machine! :D

Then you've got the same fav as mine, Sam. I put the Tempest - 3rd Gen on my poster several weeks ago.

Nothing can beat a 3rd Gen Tempest ! :).

Right. If I attack London, then I'll bring enough of those machines wih me to waste the base there (and I bring a Scanning Machine along to wipe out some mines in the area)

I don't usually bother with Scanning Machines. I just swoop in as quick as possible, and then build Repair Facilities to repair my units afterwards.

If a new Comms. Centre and Power Plant are finished, I immediately stard constructing the Repair facility, and put ALL AVAILABLE attack units to the front lines for both defense ánd attack.

Yeah, its a good way to repair your units while constantly making a new supply.

I first try to add both the Bombarding Machines ánd the Drone to my frontline units at the start of the game, (I'll reasearch the Explosives Plant first). Then I'll concentrate on the Heat-Ray Turret and Canister Launcher and then I'll do the other reasearch stuff.

 I would have thought the Tempest would have been Top Priority! :)

That's true, but it takes a while to research (Contructor Level 2: 75 days -> Fighting Machine - 2nd Gen: 37 days -> Tempest - 1st Gen: 48 days) and don't forget that the Tempest has, when researched, has a 65 day build time, so my first goal is that my bases are strong enough to defend themselves, and THEN I'll make the steps to victory.

Good Tactic! I'll try that out next time I play.

Also make sure you have enough Handling Machines and Digging Mechanisme available. Let a Constructor manufacture these if you have to hurry, but it would be wise to build as many attack forces as possible.

All good stuff. What sectors do you attack first? I usually go for Whitby, The Wolds, and then Pennines, Lake District, and Liverpool. I usually then take the quick route down the East Coast straight to London. Sometimes I like to conquer Wales and Cornwall (My favourtie places!) Because I like to own them lol.

I go for all sectors, since A: I want to eliminate the primary Ship Yards and Vehicle Factories, B: I want to make sure the resource supply is more than enough for full efficiency, C: Make the Humans fight me!

Heh, yeah I suppose. The humans always attack the Martians but when you're playing as the Humans, the Martians hardly ever attack :(.

All I want to do is pound some gun shells into their tripods.. :(

I know a SPECIAl trick: You can SPY at the other side of your current game.

Explain.. \:D/

You change the name of your game, for example Martian.001, to that of the other side, like Human.001. There are a lots of funny things at that: You can let the Martians/Humans take care of their business, you can see defences on places where YOU CAN'T PLACE THEM BY YOURSELF THERE!, you can even see the so called '2 in 1 buildings/defences' which means that you see one defence, like the Medium Gun Post, but there are 2 of them instead! I make use of this because it's fun!

Hmm im gonna try this out now!

Try to make screenshots of the weird things you see then, and show them to me. I may even use elements in my poster for example.

Will do Oever. Its really sneaky, the computer humans and martians get way more to start with than you do when you play with them!! [-X

That's true, so I make advantage of this by playing the other role! I play a Martian game starting with the Human cd, and vice versa!

Yeah, its surprising how different the gameplay actually turns out.
