How can you turn War of the Worlds into a tv series. The story is what it is. They don't win. They should have another invasion of Earth story with people struggling against the invaders and an uknown outcome. I might like that. But I won't like something that turns a great book into something it shouldn't be.

Well, It has a little Star Trek reference than the War of the Worlds. The only parts I liked is where the three remaining War Machines go back into action and chase the three humans before the machines got destroyed.
