... if you were in charge of the cast in a new WOTW TV Series who would you pick?

It depends. Is this hypothetical new series based on the existing series, or a whole new show all together? If the latter, then it would depend on what characters would exist. Though, I would try to squeeze in as many chances to put Philip Akin or Richard Chaves in roles.

I think a series based on the book from start to finish would be good. But a series for a series sake would be bad.
Unkowns for a series following the book for me. Sick of same old faces.
Part of me thinks, just leavew it alone. Just Jeff Wayne's CGI film next and then that's it. Let the world die.

I agree. According of what's currently in planning, the popularity of War of the Worlds is still extrimily high. I think a time-out after Jeff's CGI would indeed be the best thing.

I won't use the links, Lonesome. I only use links if they're going to sites with news/updates on War of the Worlds. I'm really strong in knowing the sites I want to watch.

I guess it would depend on the story and the sort of characters. I personally would like some reletivily unknowns with a few well knowns.

I agree with that, Lee. I can't understand what nuance wanted to show us.

*goes to toilet* I can't stand spammers. I would only post links if they were useful!
