As I reported a few weeks ago, the music magazine MOJO should now be out and contains a 7 page article on Jeff Wayne and the album, which includes the new SA-CD version and 'Collector's Edition'.

For more details of 'other' magazines coming out with reviews and articles in them, go to the link below:

The Bee Gees  "you can tell by the way I use my walk, I'm a tripod"
OR
The Beach Boys "Good, Good, Good, Good vibrations as I excavate my pit"
I think I would have turned them down as well :D

I'm going to try and get the article today.

The Beach Boys don't really exist. there are no Wilson's in the band that tour and as a result they can't get a record deal. The origional Beach Boys are just about one of my fave bands. I have everything by them The late 60's and 70's albums are phenominal. They all flopped and went into obscurity but they are beautiful albums. Sunflower and Surf's Up being particularly good.

They'd be wrong for WOTW though in any incarnation.

Just read the article. Very good. I thought the Beach Boys and Bee Gees had asked to be involved in the new project but it was the origional. Wayne felt the Beach boys were too american and the Bee Gees wanted to write songs for it, and Jeff was like..."Hold on boys."
