:D Soon you will have all the instructions so you can BUILD YOUR OWN!

Cut these out of ¼mm card or if you prefer ¼mm plastic sheet.

Step 106.
Bend the side antenna brackets about 70° at the elbow joint and drill a very small hole in the end to receive the antenna (do this for the central antenna as well) if you used card you could make the hole with a pin.
Super-glue the brackets in position shown in Trims blueprints.

Step 107.Making the Antenna.
Using a scrap piece of model frame molding (this is the frame that parts of a model kit come attached to) heat a small section over a candle until the plastic is soft (don't set fire to it  in fact get mummy or daddy to help you with it  ) then remove it from the heat and gentle pull the ends apart so the heated section stretches. hold taught till cool.
Cut the resulting thin strand into three 4cm lengths.

No, Envy, and that's worse :a093:

Anyway enough of that :D Here's the bit we have all been waiting for.

Step 108. Making The Tentacle
Using a cut off piece of the stretched model-kit frame, wave it over a flame, because it has been stretched it will try to return to it's original form when heated, keep it moving and you may create some unusual shapes.

Step 109.
Fit the Tentacle and Antenna as shown using the appropriate glue.

Step 110. Fitting the Leg Cables.
I should have done this before the legs were attached but it's not too late if you are careful.
I'm using copper earth wire from heavy duty electric cable, Drill a shallow hole in the top collar of the upright section of the leg the same diameter as your chosen piece of wire, Super-glue one end of the wire into the hole and other end runs between the two tapered rods on the underside of the horizontal part of the leg, cut to length and Super-glue in position.

Step 111.
Paint the whole thing silver, the Hood green and the blisters on the side pods dark orange or red-brown. The holes that the legs fit into and the circular hole at the front (the loudspeaker)are best painted gun-metal grey.
If you have a steady hand with a paint brush you can have a go at painting the six little holes at the front of the lower body or you could use the full stops or dashes from Lettra-Set rub-down transfers.

And That's It, It's Finished. \:D/  \:D/

A few weeks back when I tried posting 'The Invasion of Earth' comic, I was told I had reached my maximum of image uploads and if I wanted to post anymore images I would have to delete some of my old stuff to make room. So I did. :D but I can see the same thing happening again so I'm planing on deleting all the pictures from this thread in a few weeks time, this should free up quite a bit of space for my future posts.
So if anyone wants any of the images from this thread get them whilst there still here, cos once they're gone they're gone for good

Leave these Peter. You can delet all my images from my Acid Man thread. I'm not fussed, I have them elsewhere and they are not War of the Worlds related so it stands to reason. As president I'm ordering you to do that.
