Jeff Wayne's classic 1978 musical version of The War Of The Worlds is being turned into a stage show.
Inspired by the HG Wells novel, the original album featured a blend of prog rock and classical and literary influences, including a spell-binding narration from Richard Burton.
There were also a number of outstanding performances by some of the biggest artists of the 1970s, including David Essex, Justin Hayward, Phil Lynott and Julie Covington.
Jeff explains he always hoped it would eventually become a stage show: "It has always been a dream, I always wanted to try to perform it in a live environment."
